Booking & Cancellation Terms
These are the terms for booking and cancelling children's birthday parties at Kiipeilyseikkailu. Below we explain how payment works, the cancellation terms that apply to your booking, and how you can cancel.
Payment
All prices include VAT: 13.5% on tickets and catering, 25.5% on other services and alcoholic drinks. Bookings are made and paid for in our booking system (Sessiq). Online payments are processed by the payment providers Paytrail and Stripe.
Organisations with a Finnish business ID (Y-tunnus) can pay by invoice. Choose “Pay on Arrival” as the payment method and we’ll invoice you afterwards. There is a €10 invoicing surcharge (incl. VAT) and a 14-day payment term.
Booking fee
Some bookings, such as birthday parties, may include a booking fee. It is shown before you pay, paid when you book and deducted from the final price.
The booking fee is not refunded if the booking is cancelled or moved less than 7 days before the booked time. The fee is part of any cancellation charge below, never charged on top of it: the cancellation charge is at least the booking fee and includes it.
Cancellation terms
The cancellation charge depends on the booking type and on how close to the booked time you cancel. It is calculated from the total price of the booking.

Changes to a booking
You don’t need to confirm the number of guests or the catering in advance: both can still change on the day. We charge for the number of people who actually take part, but at least the minimum charge shown when you book.
How to cancel or change a booking
Use the link in your booking confirmation email, or contact the venue. If you don’t cancel in time and don’t arrive, the booking is not refunded.
Sports and wellbeing benefits
We accept ePassi and Edenred sports and culture benefits. Bookings paid with a benefit are not refunded in cash.
Right of withdrawal
Tickets and bookings made online have no 14-day right of withdrawal under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, because they are leisure services for a specific date and time (chapter 6, section 16). The cancellation terms above apply instead.
Participation and safety
Participation is at your own risk. Follow the staff’s instructions and the venue’s safety rules.
- Minors are the responsibility of the guardian or the adult in charge of the group who comes with them, such as a teacher or the party host.
- Tell the staff straight away if you get hurt, feel unwell or notice broken equipment.
- The staff may stop a participant or refuse entry if instructions are not followed, if someone’s behaviour puts safety at risk, or if a participant is intoxicated.
- Participants are liable for damage they cause to equipment or premises intentionally or through negligence.
Venue tidiness and cleaning
We ask that the party space is left in the same condition as it was at the start of the party. When booking, you can optionally add a paid cleaning service, in which case we handle the final cleaning for you.
If the space is left in a condition that materially departs from normal use (that is, it has not been cleaned, or even where the cleaning add-on was selected the space is left clearly dirtier or more untidy than normal use), we charge the reasonable additional cleaning costs afterwards.
Gift cards
A gift card is valid for 12 months from purchase and works at every Active Entertainment venue. Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
Gift cards are not sold on this site. They are sold centrally in the online shop at shop.activeentertainment.fi and are governed by that shop's own order, delivery and cancellation terms. Please read them there.

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example as the service changes. The current version is always on this page, and the date at the top shows when the terms were last changed.
